Who we are
This website is operated by ANTERE SOFTWARE LTD, a company registered in the Republic of Cyprus under number HE 497996, with its registered office at Promachon Eleftherias 9, Rebeca Court, 2nd floor, Agios Athanasios, 4103 Limassol, Cyprus ("Antere", "we", "us"). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us at support@anteresoftware.com.
What this policy covers
This policy covers your use of this website and your correspondence with us. Each of our mobile applications has its own privacy policy, which describes what that app collects and why. You'll find it linked from the app's store listing and from within the app.
What we collect, and why
When you visit the site
This site is a set of static pages. It does not use cookies, analytics, advertising, or any third-party scripts or fonts. The only party that processes data when you load a page is our hosting provider, which records standard server logs — your IP address, the time of the request, the page requested, and your browser's user agent — for security and to keep the service running. We rely on our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not use these logs to identify or profile visitors.
When you contact us
If you email us, we process your email address, your name if you give it, and the content of your message, so that we can reply and handle your request. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to correspondence (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) or, where your message concerns a contract with us, the performance of that contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Correspondence is kept for up to 24 months after our last exchange, unless we need to keep it longer to resolve a dispute or to meet a legal obligation.
Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers. We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf under contracts that require them to protect it:
- Website hosting: GitHub, Inc. (GitHub Pages), which serves this site and keeps the server logs described above.
- Email: Google Ireland Limited (Google Workspace), which stores and delivers our correspondence.
Some of these providers process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or by the Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
We may also disclose personal data where the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.
How long we keep data
Server logs are retained by our hosting provider for a limited period for security purposes. Correspondence is kept for up to 24 months after our last exchange, as described above. We delete or anonymise data when it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to ask us for access to your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email support@anteresoftware.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting, and we will respond within one month.
If you believe we have handled your data unlawfully, you can complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Cyprus (dataprotection.gov.cy) or to the supervisory authority in the country where you live.
Children
This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page shows when it last changed. Material changes will be announced on this page.
